Sun needs to make money
While it's fine to talk about "building communities" and such, I still fail to see how Open Source enables Sun to make money. Jonathan has never provided any details, rather he talks in slogans--just like a politician.

This is not a criticism of Open source; I just don't see OS as a solution to the problem.

Many have said Sun's legacy products are dragging them down. I say Sun's legacy management is dragging them down and needs to go.

Too bad a lot of good people will be let go while the senior leadership gets to stay on.
