RE: Ubuntu's Shuttleworth: Linux server, client will be big in the cloud an: Mark, It probably won't surprise you to learn that it's happening right now - just have a look at Desktopondemand.com or Cosmopod.com or GoPC.net and you'll see some of us are way ahead of you

This is not a wholly new idea but I think what Mark is really alluding to is the whole thing has never been approached right with scalability in mind.
