Bruce, Bruce, Bruce...
Personally, I think Perens is a has been. He wants a seat on the OSI board to try to become relevant again.

His "campaign" seems to be based on fear-mongering. He writes "I think that vendor-domination of Open Source inevitably dilutes the rights of everyone else." That's nice Bruce, but you didn't even give us ONE example of where you thought that happened. He also is concerned about Microsoft getting a seat on the board. Sounds like the "al Qaeda may attack us" stuff we hear from the Bush administration around every election. Of course, there's never any credible evidence of such - in either the administration's case or in Perens case.
