Yes, it is funny to watch MS and the BSA try to crack down on piracy in
places where people can not afford Windows, or at least would switch to Linux before paying for Windows. They use Windows because that is what they grew up with, but keep using it only because it is free.

So, when the crackdown begins, you end up with a lot more people building communities and switching to Linux. And, once they switch, and they are part of the community, they would not go back to Windows even if it was free again.
