Keep in mind that to date, all of the GPL-enforcement actions (save one [1]) have ended in settlements where the alleged violator simply arranges to be compliant and that's that. No damages asked or awarded; just "go and sin no more."

Everybody walks away smiling.

[1] The sole exception is the IBM counterclaim against SCOX, but that's an exception to a lot of rules -- including the one against corporations with death wishes.
