the American computing industry is on the verge of losing more than it can afford. Thing is it's not just Asia, but South America, Africa, Europe. They are all pursuing Open Source on many levels from server to desktop to applications down to the core OS level. Greed will be the downfall of those that cannot adapt or understand that there is more than money to life.
