OSS has yet to come up with a database that scales.

PostgreSQL was a proprietary database made by proprietary software companies. They competed with Microsoft, Oracle and PostgreSQL lost.

You are trumpeting a loser in the proprietary database as an OSS savior. This begs one to ask the question "How good must the other propreitary database software be that they put PostgreSQL out of business."
