Flaw in X Window System
Dear Sirs!

1. It is called X Window, NOT X Windows!
2. That "dangerous" bug was exploitable for
certain local users only. Not very serious but
never the less, the patch was suplied whitin
a week.
3. I have used Linux since 1996 and never
encountered any security problems. That is
ofcourse due to proper security and a use.
4. Mycollegues have had hundreds of security
incidents with their non-Linux systems
rendering their computers useless from time
to time, which never happen to me!
5. Secure Linux has been here already for years!
6. And YES, I have used Linux on the desktop all
these years.

Why do you insist on spreading FUD and plain lies about Linux? Is it so painful to realize that you'd better start learning? Linux is everywhere. Would you trust Windows as operating system for computers managing air-traffic controll in USA?

FAA trusts Linux for the job!

Think again!

Lindsey!

Given that Windows will probably NEVER be secure, not so bad.  DonnieBoy | 05/04/06
