Someone else sees the use of this
While many were dissing this product from Palm I saw advantages unique to my
needs. It is in no way a laptop replacement yet, But it looks like it will travel well. I
commute by bicycle and do cross country bike touring. I have used various devices
for email on the road culminating in the use of the Palm TX for GPS mapping track
logging and photo tagging, E-Mail reading and posting and light web browsing via
bluetooth connection to my phone and wifi connections where available. I have
battery extenders for my Cell phone and palm that allow me to run continuously
for 12+ hours. The Foleo looks light enough to travel and may replace my Palm if
it is sturdy enough and if I can get some GPS mapping software that works on it.
George, In your use of the product did it seem very sturdy? Can the lid be removed
or folded all the way around out of the way like a tablet (Needed for placing on my
handle bars). Thanks for the info on this.
