Swing and a miss...
Office and might as well throw OS bloat isnt about functionality.. silly wabbits.. Its about having something to sell every few years.

I have supported business users since Office 97, and 99.999% of everyone I have ever touched could do their jobs and every task they needed with Office 97.

MS's problem is that when everyone on the planet owns whatever the Office of the day is, they got no revenue stream, so we need to add something, market it, discontinue the previous version and make some money. Lather rinse, repeat.
