Best Security is Physical Security
We've had this discussion before.

It's worth mentioning again particularly because of emerging technologies and the need for compliance with Sarbanes/Oxley and HIPAA:

"The best security is physical security."

Looking at it this way--if no data persists on the client machine whatsoever, then there is nothing to 'steal'! Pure and Simple.

Simple cost-effective solutions exist which centralize data inside a locked-down data center. In this scenario, the client machine only encrypts a 'Thin Client' X Terminal or Windows Terminal GUI session.

Nothing else goes across the wire.
Example: Steal This Notebook

Simple. Secure. Peace of Mind.
And Sleep Well.

Thanks George
