Not Ready for Prime Time
There's been much speculation regarding when Vista Gold Master will release, particularly to remove the 'rough' edges it might be best to delay until early Spring 2007, at least.

This reinforces the idea that in the business sector, 'smart' IT isn't going to evaluate deployment of Vista until well following a first service pack availablility.

Home users purchasing new PCs will have a chance to be on the 'bleeding edge' of technology, if they so choose.

Thanks for your 'honest' appraisal and I hope you will give a full review of the finished production release.

By the looks of it, Vista isn't ready for prime time and isn't going to ship on schedule.
