Marketing?
Maybe MS should do better marketing then, as on their site they state stuff like:

A modern processor (what is exactly a modern processor, providing links to intel and AMD and then stating that MS is not responsible doesn't do it for me alas)

A graphics processor that will support the Windows Vista Display Driver Model (doesn't tell me anything I should say)

But i guess the biggest problem for most companies won't be the graphics driver, as i don't see any need for eye candy on business desktops, but the modern processor and 512Mb internal memory.

Most desktops i've seen at companies where i've been have an average processor, make use of integrated graphics and have 256 Mb internal memory.

And upgrading all your hardware definately costs money, that's why most companies will wait. Not the Vista graphics requirements.
