I was wondering if this flaw was being exploited. It seemed like too good of a flaw for some groups to let go unused.

I also find it interesting that Cisco did not inform their customers of the severity of this flaw. The question is did they actually downplay the risk.

I doubt they are killing their reputation. There are those that "live and die" by Cisco. I, for one, would have to think twice about purchasing their products. But probably would not let it affect me enough that I wouldn't buy it if it was the best for the job.

However, I do find their "hissy fit" amusing.
