- M$ to buy Yahoo in less than 2 years
-
So, why should Yahoo be all that concerned
about developing a mobile OS? Once the search
deal is closed and given 12 months to prove M$'
bing can slowly grab market share from Google,
M$ will, in fact, complete a purchase of Yahoo,
which makes a lot of sense. Marry the resurgent
SW company with the content company and
together they will compete effectively against
Google and Apple. Between now and then, M$
needs to get WM7 right, integrate the Zune and
XBox services with the mobile OS, and make
their mobile applications store a real
contender. Certainly, these are tall orders,
but they're achievable, even with M$ recent
track record. - Posted by: jjworleyeoe Posted on: 10/24/09 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
