I buy into the "accessory" concept
For me a netbook would be a great accessory for a desk top system. Especially if I could access my desktop via the Internet.

I like the power and price point of desktops and most of my computing is stationary in reality. Once in a while I do need some mobile computing but not really enough to justify a full blown notebook.
