Win 7 is too new
The machine is designed for business. Businesses are not going to
switch to Win 7 overnight. It will take quite some time. Heck, Win 7
isn't even out. Nobody knows what hiccups await.

The buyer of the notebook today can be ASSURED that the machine will
work with the company software - either XP or Vista. If it were shipped
with 7, that assurance would not be there.
