BAD IDEA.
Like a lot of liberal legislation (Employee Free Choice Act, etc.) the actual idea is the opposite of the name.

The idea here is not neutrality, but CONTROL. This provides a way for the government to start regulating the internet.

Despite the on-the-surface intent of the rules, the traffic management functions that the carriers provide will still have to be done because of technical reasons. Since there is not unlimited bandwidth, choices have to be made.

With the government making those choices, the industry will have spend more to try to keep up. Costs will go up because the government's rules won't be based on efficiency, but on politics (surprise). They will pas on the costs to us.

Thanks, liberals.
