I've said it before, SaaS will make fools out of people who use it
Data ownership, security, lock-in licensing, company going under (have any of the Aye-sayers bothered to look at a little thing called "the economy"?)

Especially lock-in licensing; will the companies providing these services do a darn thing once set up? There are more than enough historical precedents to conclusively show that they get rewarded for such activities, the more indolent they get. Money for nothing, why bother? The rest of us have to innovate and move on too, as reminded to us by the same critters who set up these little schemes.

Double-standards are cool.

If anything is lazier than SaaS, I don't want to know about it.

Like I also said, SaaS makes an aaSS out of those who use it.
