I agree....
We have 1300 health insurance companies in this country and if we allowed them to operate across the country without state regualtions on them, we could see major price drops from that alone. Most know that only a handful can operate in any one area which creates monopolies all over. Also if companies were not tied directly to one insurance company we could see prices come down even more as they would compete for the people and not just be given the patients to insure. We obviously have not used the wisdom of free markets in healthcare and I think its about time we did. I don't think Washington gets it, so we will have to take the 1000 pages they give us and be happy with it, well they think we will be happy with it. Not me so much.
