Great in theory, not so great in the real world
The problem allways comes down to the simple fact that even though something can be done with hardware and software, the user is the component not fully addressed.

an XBox or Playstation hooked to a 32 inch television in the den or living room is a much better gaming console then one hooked to a 17 inch monitor in the office.

Now solve that by adding yet another device tethered to your cable and television, and it no longer becomes portable.

It works where the cable is. No Blu-Ray in the car, or gaming console were their is no hi speed internet.

And when the internet is down, so is your gaming.
