EU ups its bet on LTE wireless networks

There was an article on Zdnet about comcast, brighthouse, timewarner and..: sprint funding wimax research and deployment.

I know for a fact that all the sprint towers in florida are being given fiber backbone connections. This can only mean that sprint intendeds to move to some form on high speed wireless and expand services.
