eLance - A Great Way to Avoid H1B Costs

i have been a paid user of eLance as an IT service
provider. while there were a few exceptions - very
few - i found a majority of the work was going to
off-shore bidders, particularly those in India.
if i could live on $10 to $15 an hour i very
likely could have won many contracts through
eLance since that is the hourly rate i would have
to offer to successfully bid against off-shore
competition.
