Simple reason, Chrome is an attack on MS
Google is using Chrome to attack MS. Apple is of no concern to Google so there is little point in releasing Chrome for OS X (I bold it because I'm a Mac user who uses Windows and Chrome works just fine on a Mac, grrrr wink ).
