- yahoos Bartz Was Opiated while selling search....

New York Times article few days back stated ms. bartz, after knee replacement, had been taking schedule narcotics, including strong opiates for pain when yahoo-microsoft deal was struck.
Ms. Bartz was even unable to stand upright in decision making process timeframe, holding onto chair, to avoid falling over.
yahoo lost 20% of its value. Bartz is part of Northwestern bank group, which, until NW Bank burned down its own headquarters in Feb 1999, was substantial organization.
