Not optimistic
At the risk of appearing to bite the hand that used to feed me, even the brightest newspaper executives didn't understand "the Internets" until it was too late, and the dimmer ones STILL don't understand it. I'm afraid it's going to get a whole lot darker before before a new age of journalism dawns.
