Silicon Valley recession rebound: Optimism or Arrogance?
I've lived here all my life too, so I may be biased, but I wouldn't call that arrogance.

Perhaps it's because we've weathered tough economic times before and endured. So we know something better is always coming through the pipeline? And such a variety and plethora of new technologies and ideas coming at us--ALWAYS--like you said.

So, maybe we are a bit tenacious, realistic and yes, highly optimistic happy

(Although, who knows the extent of this current recession).
