Why?
This ridiculous...I can understand their wanting to be ahead in the market but 6core? It's absolutely pointless currently. There isn't even enough stuff out that utilizes quad cores, not to mention the 64 bit part either. I enjoy drooling over new tech but there has to be some kind of point where you would think that they optimize the stuff they got already and let the software people catch up a bit.
