We'd need to know if Palm is pulling users away from AT&T and
Verizon or just selling to Sprint customers dying for any type of new
smartphone. If it's only Sprint customers, that 40,000 a week is going
to dwindle fast.
But, even if they can keep up with the 40,000 a week in sales, it would
take them six months to match the opening weekend sales of the
iPhone. If I were a developer, I know which platform I would put my
time into.
Depending on how sales figures are reported, it can make a company
look good. Remember when MS bragged they sold a million Zunes in
a year? Then we find out Apple sells 22 million in a quarter? So putting
the Pre's sales figure in the right perspective will take time. - Posted by: ShazAmerica Posted on: 07/02/09 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
