Perhaps a kindle like device?
Get rid of paper, and sell a yearly
subscription with a Kindle like reader. The
yearly subscription would help offset the
hardware costs.

Get rid of the paper, or charge extra for it
(like cellular companies do for options)

To me the hardest part of getting rid of the
paper, is the ease of use it provides. You can
quickly thumb through the section you need, and
also get to advertisements faster(sunday
funny's anyone?) I'm sure dedicated readers
are intuitive enough to make finding things
fast, and easy?

Me, I pick up a paper at least twice a week in
the hotels I stay at.
