I suppose it is how you view a mobile phone.
Myself, I hate cell phones, they are interuptive and down right intrusive in many situations. I have one, it stays in my auto for the road trips I take and 5 or 6 have my number and have been threatened with death if they give it out.

The plus side of that is, I get a free phone when I renew a basic contract at the lowest possible cost. This August the current contract is up and I am not going to renew it, instead I bought a pay as you go (card operated) cell phone for $25. Why get rid of the contract? Last month I spent a total of 9 minutes using it. I'd say thats about average.
