HD videoconferencing from a PC or Mac is not just about improving the visual quality over what Skype offers, though this is important. But desktop HD videoconferencing such as what Vidyo (www.vidyo.com) offers enables multiple participants to meet and have a natural converational experience. The value of enterprise quality videoconferencing is that people can do high quality collaboration rather than just see who the other person is. What you want is to see the reactions of the people with whom you are meeting. HD quality enables this.
