Whatever that means.
"Microsoft?s new search engine, called Bing, is no Yahoo."

Whatever that means, lol.

"Yahoo?s main page, by contrast, has so much going on there that you might almost overlook the search bar itself."

Which is pretty a pretty bad thing to do. People don't want to be overwhelmed with a lot of stuff on their screen. They want a simple interface.

"I also have a MyYahoo page and a Yahoo mail account, as well as Yahoo Messenger and a customized page within Yahoo Finance."

Well, I *have* a MyYahoo and a Yahoo mail. Yahoo Mail I've pretty much dumped for Gmail; I check Yahoo once a month or less and no longer give anybody that address.

MyYahoo I haven't visited in many months.

There's a difference between having something and using it.

I'm just not seeing it. It really doesn't have that much appeal to me anymore, especially with Gmail having IMAP support. Frankly, I'm not ready to pull the plug on my offline applications, and I doubt I ever will.
