Stay unconnected as much as possible. I get sick of the always connected world and having email buzz me every hour of the day when it hits my inbox. I would recommend these people focus on their work merits before they start getting smartphones.

The perception culture makes me sick as well. Who cares if you're not the best for the job, you got a smartphone so must be something going on there, you're hired. I sure hope that is not how the real world would react, but its hard telling in the U.S.

Also all these devices being purchased at record clips and such tells me that our economy is not as bad as the media has hyped up. Personally I don't see it being the worst times since the great depression and the data has backed that up to, but the media hates data and facts and they were probably the reason the recession will go on longer, well and the massive stimulus(inflation) bill. I say leave it alone already, we are not sinking into a black hole you fools. Jobs are already starting to curtail and we have only spent around $50 billion of the stimulus which is a drop in the bucket to our economy.

But yeah I am just one of those stupid economist idiots that forgot to forget history and what it has taught us about these kinds of actions.
