Good questions & answers in the video.

It will be interesting to see if the changes Google implemented in the Dalvik VM, for performance, security, etc. reasons will ultimately get incorporated in the standard Java VM (e.g. a JVM that can be stack- or register-based, etc.). Licensing is probably the biggest issue, but it seems like it would be in Oracle's/Sun's best interest to find a way to unify the platforms.
