- Ten bucks. Google spent millions on MySpace - only to have Facebook rise out of nowhere. Don't you think that if Google bought Twitter, some other service would pop up? It's not rocket science to do what Twitter has done. Just how different is Twitter from a large email distribution list? Actually how different is Twitter from the NeWS service? It is not revolutionary - thus it ain't worth big bucks.
