So true
I work primarily from home, and yes, the TV is probably on non-stop from 6:00 am when I get up until 1:00 or 2:00 am when my wife goes to sleep. During that time I'm answering phone calls, responding to emails, writing bulletins and manuals, preparing meals for me, my wife, or my 18 month old son, eating, and sometimes even catching a cat nap. Even if I'm not doing any of those things, I'm still on FaceBook, talking to people on AIM, reading the latest posts on ZDNet, reading the latest column on ESPN, etc.

The only time the TV gets my undivided attention anymore is when the Pittsburgh Penguins are playing, or I'm watching a movie I've never seen before. The rest of the time I'm multitasking.

Oh, and look, Nightly News is talking about earthquakes in Southern California. I guess I should wrap this up, huh?
