Watchdogs of government
Some of us are old enough to remember when newspapers actually took that responsibility seriously. Now, with one Party in charge of all branches of government and the press, it is not hard to see the end of democracy looming large in our windshield. I have little sympathy for the trouble the press is facing when I think about how they have sold out our future.
