No, not worthy...

...Apple conceding to the record labels' demands and allowing variable pricing, an update on a productivity suite that no-one really cares about and an over priced desktop replacement with no Quad Core CPU and a fixed battery does not newsworthy make.

Where's the new Mini, the iPhone with 32GB in the iPod Touch's form factor? The Apple netbook? Where are the announcements that used to make peope sit up and take notice?

You think the blogs would have learned after the last two Apple non-events that a plateau has been reached.
