Now this is where it makes sense.
In this sense the so called "cloud" is just an evolution of the common hosting scenarios. But its the only "cloud" scenario that makes sense to me.

Good article. I'm planning on looking at EC2 for a couple of future ventures. The biggest selling point is the dynamic scaling. It reduces some of the guesswork planning and commitment of resources on the front end.
