The Windows market share data is misleading...
PC purchasing trends in the US don't actually represent global trends, so a rise in the market share of Macs in the US doesn't automatically mean that Windows is losing market share globally.

The US PC market used to account for 25% of the global PC user base 10 years ago; now it makes up less than 15%. So. as the emerging markets fuel new PC sales, M$ will be able to eventually compensate for the loss of US customers. Furthermore, M$ makes most of its money from enterprise sales, so the issue of Macs taking over US market share is only going to impact their image rather than their finances.
