Do you understand what "hypocrisy" means?

Apple's ads ridicule MS for spending money on advertising when Apple appears to spend more. Do you get that? Can you see how someone might call that "hypocrisy"? If Apple's ads didn't mention ad spending, then there's nothing to talk about.

Put another way - hundreds of millions were spent on the recent US presidential campaign. There's no issue there. But if Obama ran an ad ridiculing McCain for excessive campaign spending - can you figure out why McCain might complain? (since Obama spent more than McCain?)

Let me try one more time: If MS ran ads ridiculing Apple for locking users into proprietary software solutions - would you call that hypocrisy? Or not?
