I saw the 486 M figure was counterposed with the 300 M
number for the Microsoft Fall campaign. This doesn't seem to
be a correct basis of comparison. I imagine that by getting a
copy of Microsoft's annual report and looking for the overhead
expenses, you could get the annual figure for marketing.

With larger gross revenues, and a larger variety of products and
marketplaces, I would expect Microsoft's advertising budget
would be larger in gross dollars.

One could then calculate revenue dollars per ad dollars or
profit dollars per ad dollars and say something in comparison,
but to what purpose escapes me.
