- What really is the point of the netbook?
- The future is not the netbook, it's smartphones with bluetooth keyboards and smaller more powerful laptops (like the Macbook Air but faster and longer life battery). Netbook are just the way that the notebook vendors can sell more hardware for the lower end of the market. Ask yourself, would rather have an Iphone, G1 android phone or a netbook? Most people would rather have one of the new smartphones and full functioning Laptop.
