Larry, thanks for the post - but I wonder if you're missing the point a little re: "enterprise class" apps.
My understanding is that LinkedIn is essentially about assisting individuals enhance their work lives and opportunities - not (at least, at the moment) providing services or apps to employers / corporations.
In the context of helping individuals in business boost their "personal brands" and network more effectively, this looks like a really nice set of apps, very well-tuned to the audience. LinkedIn looks like a provider pretty focused on a simple proposition for a well-defined audience - which is a refreshing thing to see.
