Is there anything that he would regret?: "But he said he has no regrets of how things turned out."

What's that "how thing turn out"??? Doesn't it sound a bit negative. Yes, he is not a CTO of Apple as he would have been if he even just asked for it.
But now he is an early retired millionaire who can do anything he want without worrying about waking up at 6am everyday or attending a meeting at 8pm. He is famous.He is rich. He is very well respected.
