Apple faces suit over iPhone. Is it still worth the switch?

... I'm assuming you mean without charging it during that time frame and using it constantly? NOT possible with ANY phone.

I use a Blackberry for work and an iPhone for personal and sure the BB battery life is longer but come on, let's get real here. If you use it like that even the BB/ Treo/ Palm/ iPhone / etc with the best battery life will die from heavy useage without recharging.

Standby, yeah I'm with you though I've had my iPhone last 2 days on standby with light useage. I can use my BB heavily and in a day and a half the battery is almost dead.

Besides, isn't that why they make chargers for AC outlets as well as USB charging cables and car chargers? Personally I have one of each for each phone - and keep USB chargers for each at my desktop and in my laptop case as well as AC chargers at work and home. I make sure I don't have any issues with either device running out of power.

And as for corporate devices being issued for work, yes that is true and with the introduction of the app store, games and time-killing apps are readily available I've also had two employers who utilized BBs for their phones - and both of the ones I was assigned had games on them...and allowed access to sites via the BB net browser to D/L even more games and time-killing apps available for the BB platform...hmmmm. I guess they follow the adage of all work and no play... Though I have a feeling that as far as the app store is concerned that there IS a way to disable that for enterprise users. The main thing is the security issues which Apple seems to be addressing with the OS 2.1 release - or at least it's a step in the right direction.
