this is also an example of how the mentality of continuous growth is flawed. I really think people need to take a round turn and rethink how the economy works, because eventually you will hit a peak and from there... it's either a slow spiral down with some up ticks or a flat growth for a long period of time.

That is the reality of the whole deal. You can only grow so much and the customers can only afford so much. Screw economics, that's just plain common sense.
