Funny you should mention
"Just imagine if Microsoft had a blacklist of apps and could nuke software remotely."

They'd get torn up in the blogoshphere for being big, evil monopolists. They might even get hauled back in to court, especially if they were blacklisting 3rd party apps that compete with MS Windows Mobile apps.

Truth is, both companies have used underhanded tactics to protect their platforms. All too often, Apple gets a pass while MS gets crucified.
