We need better Wall Street analysts
I frequently see the phrase "fell short of Wall Street analysts predictions", as if a company did not do as well as it should have, and has a negative connotation.

I'm seeing this phrase with increasing frequency, these days.

I believe what we're seeing is the analysts are getting further and further from reality as there are just too many factors to consider, and that they change too rapidly, and the analysys have other agendas, like what they would like as opposed to what will really happen.

We need a better breed of analysts. Or better, don't repeat what the analysts predict, because it's irrelevant. Just tell it like it is.
